Product Description

Heavy-Duty Longspan Tyre Racking – Safe, Accessible & Expandable

RackZone’s longspan tyre racking is designed specifically for the efficient and secure storage of tyres in garages, workshops, and tyre depots. Built with the same trusted longspan framework, this system offers strength, accessibility, and flexibility for both light and heavy-use environments.

Purpose-Built Tyre Storage

Each level is designed to support tyres safely and evenly, with beams that cradle the tyre shape to prevent pressure marks or deformation. Available in 400mm and 600mm deep configurations, these racks provide the ideal depth for storing everything from car and van tyres to larger commercial models.

Constructed with high-strength steel beams and uprights, every level offers a robust load capacity, ensuring long-term reliability and safe storage for stacked or single-row tyre layouts.

Quick, Screwless Assembly

Featuring the same boltless, screwless assembly system as our standard longspan range, each unit can be installed in just 10-15 minutes. The modular design also allows for easy expansion - simply add extender bays to build out your storage as your inventory grows.

Professional, Freestanding Design

RackZone’s tyre racking is fully freestanding, giving you full access from all sides. Its clean, open design makes it easy to load and retrieve tyres quickly — ideal for busy automotive workshops, storage depots, and service centres.

Shipping & Delivery

At RackZone, we’re committed to fast and reliable delivery - whether you're ordering a single unit or a bulk shipment. We know how important it is to get your storage solutions quickly and efficiently.

Order before 3PM, Monday to Thursday, and we’ll dispatch your items the same day. Most orders are delivered nationwide the next working day, so you can get organised without delay.

Our streamlined distribution system ensures your order arrives promptly, no matter where you are in Ireland. From warehouses to workshops, we deliver what you need - when you need it.

Next Day Delivery

Order by 3pm, Monday to Thursday, and your order is delivered the next working day.

We hold stock in Ireland and dispatch the same day. We hit next-day on 95% of orders; occasionally one takes an extra working day. If the date matters, call us on 090 9673261 before you order and we'll confirm it.

When your order arrives

Monday to Thursday - order before 3pm and it's delivered the next working day.

Friday - order before 3pm and it's delivered on Monday.

After 3pm, or at the weekend - your order is dispatched the next working day, so it arrives the day after that. An order placed after 3pm on Thursday arrives Monday; anything from Friday afternoon through Sunday arrives Tuesday.

Orders placed after 3pm are dispatched the next working day wherever possible, but next-day delivery isn't guaranteed on those.

What delivery costs

Delivery is priced by size and weight, so it varies with what you're ordering - from €8 for small items up to €240 for large palletised orders like racking and longspan bays.

You'll see the exact delivery cost in your basket before you pay. Nothing is added afterwards.

Roughly, orders fall into three bands:

  • Small items: part bins, containers, accessories and tool storage. From €8, sent by DPD.
  • Larger items: floor tiles, tilt bins and single shelving bays. Sent by DPD or pallet depending on size.
  • Palletised orders: pallet racking, longspan shelving, bulk shelving and multi-bay orders. Priced per pallet, see the pallet delivery section below.

Ordering several large items? Call us on 090 9673261 before you order. We can often combine an order onto fewer pallets and bring the delivery cost down.

Free delivery on bulk orders

Order 5 bays or more of shelving and delivery is free - on the whole order.

That includes anything else you add to it: extra bays, containers, bins, workbenches, accessories. Once your order qualifies, nothing on it is charged for delivery.

Bulk discounts run alongside free delivery, and the quantities vary by product range. The tiers available on any given product are shown on its product page - you'll see the price update as you increase the quantity.

Pallet Deliveries

Larger orders - Pallet Racking, Longspan Shelving and most bulk orders ship on a pallet. Please read this before ordering, because pallet delivery works differently to a courier parcel.

What's included

Delivery is made kerbside, or to an accessible ground-floor delivery point. Deliveries use a tail-lift truck and a manual pallet truck.

What you need on site

  • Clear access for an 18-tonne rigid delivery vehicle
  • A level, firm, smooth surface - a manual pallet truck can't operate safely on gravel, grass or steep ground
  • Someone available to take the delivery and move the goods from the kerbside to where you need them

What the driver can't do

Drivers can't carry pallets or goods up or down stairs, to upper floors, through buildings, or into individual rooms or offices. They aren't able to break down pallets, unpack goods or carry items from the pallet. Our drivers will help where they safely can, but they're working to a delivery schedule and can't normally stay longer than 20 minutes.

If the vehicle can't safely reach your premises, the driver will deliver to the nearest safe, accessible kerbside point.

Oversized items

Pallets or products over roughly 1.8 metres in length or height may not suit tail-lift delivery. These can need a forklift or other offloading equipment on site. If that applies to your order, call us on 090 9673261 before you order and we'll arrange it with you.

Not sure your site can take a pallet delivery? Call us on 090 9673261. It takes two minutes and it's a lot cheaper than a failed delivery.

Opening hours

  • Monday to Friday — 9am to 6pm
  • Saturday — 9am to 1pm
  • Sunday — closed

Orders can be placed online at any time.

Returns

We’re confident you’ll be happy with your purchase — but if you need to return an item, we’re here to help.

We accept returns for unused and unopened items. Due to the large size and weight of many of our products, we’re unfortunately unable to offer free returns. This means customers will need to cover the cost of returning the item.

To arrange a return, please contact us at info@rackzone.ie within 14 days of receiving your order. All returned goods must be in their original condition and packaging.

Damage

If your order arrives with any damage or missing parts, we’ll sort it out as quickly as possible.

Please let us know within 7 days of receiving your delivery by emailing info@rackzone.ie or calling us directly. If possible, include a photo of the issue — this helps us resolve it faster. We will arrange for any damaged components to be replaced at no extra cost.

Strong, Simple Tyre Storage.

Built to hold multiple tyres securely, our racking keeps your space organised and your wheels ready to roll.

Still unsure?
We've got you covered.

Why is tyre racking important?

Tyre racking is crucial because it provides a safe, organised, and efficient storage solution for tyres. By maximising storage space and reducing the risk of tyre damage, businesses can optimise their inventory management and streamline their operations. Proper tyre racking also promotes workplace safety by preventing accidents caused by improperly stored tyres, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Implementing a well-designed tyre racking system can increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction by enabling quick and easy access to the right tyres when needed.

Where should I install tyre racking?

Tyre racking should be installed in a clean, dry, and well-ventilated area to preserve the quality of the stored tyres. Choose a location with a level surface, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity, as these factors can degrade tyre quality over time. Ensure that the tyre racking is installed in an easily accessible area to facilitate the loading and unloading of tyres, and consider the flow of traffic within the facility to optimise efficiency.

When is tyre racking needed most?

Tyre racking is crucial when demand is high during peak seasons, such as before winter when many vehicle owners switch to winter tyres. It is also vital when new tyre shipments arrive, as they must be stored properly to maintain quality and avoid damage. Tyre racking provides a solution for businesses with limited storage space but must accommodate many tyres, ensuring they can be stored efficiently and quickly.

Who needs tyre racking?

Tyre racking is essential for businesses that handle large volumes of tyres, such as tyre retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and motor service centers. Warehouses that store tyres as part of their inventory management process also greatly benefit from implementing tyre racking systems. Any business that needs to store tyres efficiently and organise them for easy retrieval can use tyre racking to optimise storage space and streamline operations.

What is tyre racking?

Tyre racking is a specialised storage system designed to organise and store tyres efficiently in warehouses, workshops, and garages. It consists of sturdy metal frames with horizontal beams or shelves that support the tyres, allowing them to be stacked vertically to maximise storage space. Tyre racking is similar to pallet racking in its design and function but is specifically tailored for storing tyres in a safe and accessible way.
