Ireland's Storage Experts have taken a national eCommerce title. The website that won it was built to answer the questions our sales team gets asked every day.
Buying racking online has always been an act of faith. You find a bay that looks about right. You can't tell if it will take the weight. You can't tell if the extender bay actually joins the starter bay. You can't tell if it will land before the fit-out starts. So you close the laptop and ring somebody.
That's the problem we set out to fix. On Friday 18 September that work won RackZone the B2B eCommerce Website of the Year award at the Irish eCommerce Awards 2026. The awards were held at The Round Room at The Mansion House in Dublin. Element Logic sponsored the category, and Mark Dunne of Element Logic presented the award.
The judges said the entry "really stood out for putting customer experience at the heart of a complex B2B website". They praised the "smart use of technology to solve real customer problems backed by strong results, clear data and a replatforming project that delivered genuine commercial impact".

What actually changed
We moved from Magento 2 to Shopify in February and rebuilt the site around the questions our own team answers on the phone. The test was simple: if a customer rings to ask it, the page should already say it.
Delivery was the obvious one. Order before 3pm Monday to Thursday and it goes out for next business day. Order before 3pm on Friday and it arrives Monday. There's a countdown timer on every product page so you can see exactly where you stand. Those "when will it arrive?" calls have stopped. Live stock on every product did the same for "have you got it?".
Longspan shelving was the biggest rebuild. Every size used to be its own product. Working out a shelving run meant clicking in and out of pages and hoping the bays matched. Now it's one page: pick your starter bay, pick your extenders, see the run. Conversion rate, order quantity and order value all went up.
We also rebuilt the categories and search around how people describe their own mess, not around the trade's product classes. We didn't want customers to need our language for shelving before they could find what they needed.

A trade customer rang to tell us the office designer let him show a layout to his own customer. He won the job off the back of it. None of these tools exist because they look clever. They exist because customers asked the same questions, and a tool answers it better than a phone call.
