A Garage Transformation with DIY SOS Ireland

We joined Baz and the DIY SOS team in Offaly to give Damien's much loved garage a new lease of life - with a dedicated workspace, practical shelving and a place for everything.

His Pride and Joy. Our Privilege to Transform.

For Damien, the big shed in the garden wasn’t just an added bonus. It was one of the main reasons he fell in love with the family home.

Damien and Hazel live in Walsh Island, Co. Offaly, with their three children, Ollie, Noah and Meadow. With each child having different additional needs, the DIY SOS build brought people together to help create a home that better supports family life.

Our part in the project was a space close to Damien’s heart: his garage. We were delighted to help turn it into an organised, practical workshop he could enjoy.

Same Garage. A Whole New Workspace.

The garage was packed with tools, equipment and everyday belongings, leaving little room to work or find what was needed.

By making better use of the walls and introducing dedicated storage, we helped free up valuable floor space and bring order to the garage. A modular workstation became the centrepiece, supported by shelving, containers and small-parts storage.
