RackZone supplies the Troax Musca anti-collapse mesh system to warehouses, distribution centres, and 3PL facilities across Ireland. Engineered to prevent pallet collapse, dropped items, and racking failures, Musca is the European specification standard for back-of-rack safety — used in tens of thousands of warehouse installations across 50+ countries. Indoor and outdoor variants, three mesh apertures, six standard panel sizes.
Our anti collapse mesh system provides robust, reliable protection for warehouse racking, helping to prevent accidents caused by falling or dislodged goods. Designed for high-performance environments, this system is ideal for improving workplace safety while maintaining operational efficiency.
Manufactured using fully welded mesh panels with a strong 19x19mm tubular steel frame, this anti collapse mesh is engineered to withstand impacts of up to 2500 joules -equivalent to a 160 kg load travelling at 20 km/h. This makes it one of the strongest and most durable systems available on the market.
Each panel features a 50 x 100 mesh configuration and is treated with a hot dip zinc coating (minimum 7μm) applied to both wire and plate before welding. This ensures excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability, even in demanding industrial environments.
This is a made-to-order product, allowing you to specify exact dimensions to suit your racking system. The system is designed for quick, easy, and versatile installation, minimising downtime during setup.
With multiple protection levels available, the anti collapse mesh system can be tailored to meet different safety requirements across your facility. Every order is backed by a 2-year warranty for added peace of mind.

Anti-collapse mesh does two distinct jobs in a modern warehouse, and the right specification depends on which one is your priority:
Fixed directly to the rear of pallet racking or longspan shelving, anti-collapse mesh acts as a safety net — preventing pallets, products, and packaging from falling through the back of the racking into walkways, neighbouring aisles, or pedestrian zones. The most common use case in busy distribution centres and 3PL warehouses, where pallet overhang and dropped items are everyday risks. Critical wherever stored goods sit above 2m height with workers, machinery, or stock below.
The same Musca panels can be used as standalone mesh partitions to separate warehouse zones, create secure bonded stores, or protect operators from machinery and forklift traffic. Different mesh apertures support different applications — 25x25mm for aerosol and chemical storage (sprinkler-compatible), 50x50mm for general security, 100x50mm for general partitioning.
Most well-specified warehouses use both — Musca behind racking on every pallet-zone aisle, plus Musca partitions creating separate zones for high-value goods, machinery enclosures, or bonded stores. One system, one supplier, one specification across the whole facility.
Irish workplace safety regulations require employers to take all reasonable steps to prevent accidents. In warehouses where goods are stored at height on pallet racking, anti collapse mesh is widely regarded as an essential safety measure to protect workers and demonstrate compliance.
Troax anti collapse mesh is tested to withstand an impact of 2500 joules -equivalent to a pendulum weighing 160kg travelling at 20km/h. This is the strongest impact rating available for anti collapse mesh systems.
The mesh aperture is 50x100mm, suitable for containing goods of all standard sizes stored on pallet racking.
RackZone provides a 2 year warranty on all Troax anti collapse mesh orders.
Yes. The Troax anti collapse system is designed for fast, easy, and versatile assembly with minimal disruption to warehouse operations.
Yes. Hot-dip galvanised Musca is specified for cold storage, freezer, and outdoor environments. The open mesh structure doesn't restrict airflow, making it compatible with chilled and frozen storage operations.
Yes. Panels can be cut to size both horizontally and vertically, with U-profile finishing strips available to seal cut edges cleanly. This allows for non-standard openings, around-column installations, and partial-bay configurations.
